I found a horse for sale in my state of Colorado on horseclicks.com. the seller is now claiming that the horse is located in Virginia and wants $200 more than the horse was originally for sale for to supposedly ship it to me. The seller has repeatedly told me that they will refuse to allow me to see the horse in person because "I'm just so busy with work".
Craigslist is well known for having scams like this and have started advertising that this is in fact a scam and not to fall for it. According to Craigslist, you will send the scammer the money and never hear from them again with no legal recourse and the car or puppy or horse that you were attempting to buy never existed in the first place.
The scammer has obviously found another website to move on to, and I feel that everyone should be aware that this phone number does in fact belong to a scammer.
