Always answer these types of calls - they have to pay for completed call. Keep them talking as long as possible with fake info so they have to pay more.
This woman called twice after I told her the company was NOT interested. They call at least once a week asking for the former owner and refuse to leave the company alone. I had not even had time to lay the phone down before she called the third time and told me she would have me fired because I had just cost my company a huge account. Please stop bothering us. I do not have time for your idiot phone harassment.
We have had several calls from this #. Each time caller was rude, insisting they were 'following up' with the owner, which is a lie. My boss has never spoken to these people and we do not want whatever it is they are 'trying' to sell. Don't know how to stop them. I just keep civil and keep them from getting what they want.
