Phony call claiming to be from the IRS. They claim that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.

Call saying that the IRS is filing a claim against me. I used to work for the IRS and I'm sorry that I missed the call because I would have F*@*ed with this person. Just to let everyone know, the IRS DOES NOT call about anything. The IRS sends out letters, so if you get a call from someone saying its from the IRS....forget about it. My guess is that they are trying to find someone naïve enough give out personal information. Never do that.....

Same here, got a recorded voicemail saying I was being SUED by I.R.S. and to call them immediately. It didn't address my name.
