They called twice. I didn't answer the first call, check here to see that it's a scam. Second time they called, I answered my cell, and just put the cell phone down. Heard someone talking...and they finally gave up and hung up. ...some justification!
The automated message says final notice. Lower my interest rates on my credit card..following the prompt I asked what is the account number of the card in question. The line went dead. I believe this is a phishing identify theft attempts.
#1) I have no credit card
#2) if someone has a credit card in my name or associated with my phone number I want information. Not to give information.
#3) I will not give information sufficient for someone calling me to set up a card with my data.
I don't know who these people are but they are going to be reported to the federal authorities.
WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are B I G credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!
They called twice...once early this morning then around 9 and woke up my baby. No message left. I tried calling back at 11:20 and the number has been disconnected.
