I've received calls from this number numerous times, so I finally decided to answer and tell them to leave me alone. It took a long time for the guy to come onto the line after I answered. He asked for a name that wasn't mine, so I told him he had the wrong number. Then, he asked if I was the owner of my cell phone #, and after I confirmed, he says he's with Fed Govt and I've qualified for free financial aid. I tell him I'm not interested, and to remove my # from the list. He asked the reason, and I repeated that I wasn't interested. He kept asking for a reason, so I told him I had no idea what the call was about (thick accent, couldn't understand his pitch in the first place). He explained free financial aid, so I told him I'm not in school, not interested. He replied asking what was my highest level of education, at which point, I said he was invading my privacy and that I was reporting him.
This number has called my cell 4 times in 5 hours so far today alone and its only noon. They left a voicemail on one of the calls saying that they were calling from the "IRS internal revenue service" and that the "IRS internal revenue service" was owed money by me and that if I didnt immediately call them back to pay them the money I owed that the "IRS internal revenue service" would take a warrant out for my arrest. Considering this was all said in a computer sounding voice I'm not inclined to believe them not to mention the fact that I get a refund every year from the "IRS internal revenue service" total scam block them
