Claims to be IRS. I told them don"t call my house no more.they call me and had a tape recorder on. and,said they had a law suit on me, but I know it was a lie, because I don't work any more, I haven't. Work in years. Somebody need to put a stop to these people, because I don't. have time for games, and someone else might fall for this.
I have received 2 of these SCAMMER calls today from 878-302-8704 and 202-241-7098. They are both BS scams.
Let me just say that I work for H&R Block and the IRS will NEVER call you. They will send you letter after letter and when you don't respond they will show up at your door. For privacy purposes they CAN NOT take ANY information from you over the phone. The most they can do is send you a letter requesting that you call them to make an appt with your local IRS office to discuss whatever needs they have.
The caller identify themselves as the IRS and that the reason for the call was to inform me that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. For more information on the case filed please call immediately to our department number 202-241-7098. I called the number provided and a recorded message notifies caller that the magic jack number dialed has not been assigned yet. I also called the number that register on my cell 878-302-8704 and a guy answer. I asked him if he could help , that I had received a call (of course acting as I was concern and didn’t know much as what to do) but he said , you have the wrong # and hung up. They continue to also call my 12 year old daughter’s phone. I researched on line and many people have reported it as a scam.
