Who called from 9011349616

got a call from this number today.  Have been getting calls from different random numbers like this, and other numbers of which the prefix code begins with a "1".  i DIDNT TINK A PREFIX CODE COULD BEGIN WITH A "1"!  I tried to call it back, and it is a non-working number... then how can it call me???  Weird.

These are calls coming from someone who has "spoofed" the caller ID number -- that is, this is not the real number the call is coming from.  Companies do this deliberately so their organization cannot be reported if they're in violation of the Do Not Call laws in the US.  Most likely this was from a call center in India.

Received call 9:10 AM on Sept. 28, 2011. No one at other end.

Just got a call from this number.  Since I didn't know the number, I just didn't answer  Who ever heard of a phone number starting with the number "1"?

Got a call 10-24-11 at 10:40AM EST. I answered and they hung up. I tried to call back and was advised that this is not a working number.
