It may be a scam. Some scammer make a call like that. They ask you to give them your anme, and credit card number and the code on the back so they can reactivate your card. They then use your card to spend you up to your credit limit and beyond.
If you get a call like this call the number on the back of your card or on your statement. You know that number really belongs to your bank. Ask them if there is problem with your card. Call from the number they have on file for you so they'll know its really you.
