Another sleazebag telemarketer no doubt. Both name and number now on my blocklist.
Any calls using either that name (with ANY number) or that number (with ANY name) are now blocked here.
A call purporting to originate from this Tennessee-based phone number arrived this morning. When the call went to voice mail, the caller left no message. This behavior is typical of scam telemarketers, who use automated dialers to place calls in numerical sequence. If the call is answered by a live person, the automated dialer transfers the call (after a few seconds delay) to the live scam telemarketer, who proceeds to deliver the pitch. DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM BY ANSWERING THESE CALLS.
A very good computer generated female voice pushing a GE security system. I forgot its Pseudonym - but the slight hesitation gave it away as well as the answer to "are you a computer?" which was goodness, [giggle] , "do I sound that bad today?'.
