I received a text way back in the spring from this same number. He sent me a "certified check" for $2500 for "payment" for being a "mystery shopper". I was to keep $500 and send the balance to aanother "supposed " mystery shopper after I "cashed" it at my bank. Of course, as all these "scams" go, eventually the bank would receive notice that the check was "fraudulent" and debit my account for the amount of the check and I would be "out" that money. But I am well aware of these various "schemes" that these degenerates use to "steal" your money, so I asked the bank teller to call the bank that the check originated from and she was told it was "fraudulent" - no surprise there. I still have the check as a "souvenir" and a reminder for both my wife and I and any friends or family members how "real and official" these checks can look. ..........Fast forward to today and I am receiving texts from this same number (I guess he forgot that he already tried his scam on me, earlier) wanting me to post ads on "Craig's List" and to open up a new email account and password for him to verify that I am doing the postings - as if he really cared. He just wants a reason to send me my "pay" and of course the check will be in a much larger amount and after I cash it to send the balance to another "sucker" or back to him before the check is discovered to be "fake". I am going to lead him on as long as I can so he thinks I am doing as he instructed because the time I take from him takes away his efforts to "scam" another unsuspected person. I hope everyone who reads this is helped by this posting and in turn makes others aware of this and other types of SCAMS!
