Got a call today from 901-371-8000 as well. I called the number back. The prompts sounded like it was a credit card merchant center. I was alarmed so I asked them do they do work for the bank that I do my financial transactions with. The CS rep said they do work for that bank. They were very helpful in putting me into the right department. I do not think that this is fraud. Oh by the way I live in New Jersey.
I keep getting calls from this company at my work phone number which is a private company and not listed. I can only assume that my work number (which i obtained 8 months ago) was somehow used for a different company. This company call every day at the same time and the phone only rings once - when I try and call them to stop calling there is no way to actually speak to a real person as the message requires you to enter an extension number. I did enter a random number and did get a nice girl in tech support who told me that FirstData do not make outgoing calls. Well someone does!!!!! Irritating that they keep calling and I cannot stop them or talk to them to tell them to stop calling.
