They are using a dialer... which means that if it is working right, it has already recorded the fact that you answered the call. This "validates" your number, making it more valuable to be sold to other telemarketers. Do not make it worse by calling them back and giving them your phone number so that they can "remove" it from their list. This GUARANTEES that they will sell your number to some other telemarketer.
It is like email spam. Do not open. Do not respond in any way.
They just rang me on my mobile (around 1045am). There was a previous call immediately to my landline (no message), but I don't have caller ID service, so I don't know if it was related. I do not answer or return unknown calls on mobile (or landline) as it's pay-as-you-go.
