Caller said they needed to update my Mastercard, then tried to schedule an appointment--the full number on my caller ID is 901-399-350407(?) Not sure what the extra two digits are. I hung up, saying I had a bad connection. They've called three times in the last two hours.

My company phone receives calls about every other day between 10 and 11:30 AM EDST from 901-399-3504-071. The first time we waited for some guy to come on line and he seemed startled that a voice asked him "Who is calling" after about 45 seconds he disconnected. We now simply tell the caller not to call our number again and hang up or simply pickup and hangup.
I got this phone call on 6/26/2008 @ 4:00pm ct (901-399-3504108) I had a missed called form that same number but then at 4:01pm they called again, they asked for me but then of course i said she is not here, so then they asked me if they could speak to a family member so i said i was her sister, so this idiot guy states "im calling from the federal government agancy and ? got a $5000.00 grant, may i have ur bank account information so that i can place the money in the account" i told them no and he kept insisting like for the longest time, finally i told him that i was going to find out who he was and he just hung up on me as soon as i told him that...THIS IS ALL A SCAM! Yeah right like if BUSH...IT is really willing to give $5grand i nearly got f***ken $60.69 in the stimulius payment....that if that helpped....
Received only 1 call with this partial id, discovered in my missed call list. Full caller id was 901-399-3504106. It's notable to me because several scam telemarketer calls were received with ID 399-350-4106. A separate entry with narrative was made under that number on this site. I believe the latter number is probably spoofed, BUT did the spoofer accidentally let his real area code 901 out? If so he (or they) may be in southwest Tennessee. Incoming 399-350-4106 is claimed to be an on-line pharmacy, as reported by a male with heavy accent. But 399 is invalid area code. Caller seems east Indian, Pakastani, or maybe even Turkish trained by UK accented teacher. He wants personal info. I will now treat both versions of number as a scammer attempting ID theft or similar nefarious purposes.
