They tried this with me and wouldn't give any information so I kept redialing for 2 hours straight, they told me they were filling charges against me for harassing calls, but can you harass a telemarketer? Next time they call you just keep calling them back, they will beg you to stop calling.
This number 901-425-1316 made contact and stated that they worked for "Litigation Services". When asked what Law Firm they were affiliated with the female caller indicated Richard Baxter. When asked where they were located in order to request in writing the alleged debt they were trying to collect on the female called stated that we were passed that point and needed to resolve the payment immediately so that she could initiate a stop order and prevent me from being arrested. The caller would not disclose any information about who I was dealing with which is clearly in violation of Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices, these people are nothing but a S-C-A-M!!!!! DO NOT PAY THEM ONE SINGLE CENT!!!!!!
Despite my request to know their true identity they refused to give it to me but demanded I provide a credit card number, I cent believe these companies get away with this over and over again. NO LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY WILL CALL YOU AND REQUEST MONEY WITH A CREDIT CARD OR THREATEN YOU WITH ARREST!!!!! Be Safe and don't fall for this!
This company just called me about an hour ago and was looking for my daughter. They had me in hysterics thinking that they were going to be arresting her. The woman said the exact same thing about initiating a stop order. Did tell me the amount due, but wouldnt tell much more. Just said there were 3 felonies she would be arrested for.
They called me same M.O. As the others.they said I was being thrown under the bus by the lender, the lender wrote the loan off but they were going for fraud charges, they think I intionaly closed the account so I would be the scapegoat.said the same on bad check charges. For paying off the loan he could stop the warrant. THIS is not a bad check, this is an ACH debit. Don't fall for it. At the end of the day they are still just a collection agency, no matter how intimidating the name. Hang up on them
This number 901-425-1316 called and the person I spoke to was Nancy Armstrong a real B*. She told me I had 3 felony warrants for issuing worthless checks. So I tried explaining myself and letting her know I don't write check but she was real shrewd and said it was losers like you that are always trying the fraud the payday loan companies. I tried to get a payday loan online but once I finished the application another one popped up and I closed it out. Once they get your information they can try to run a scam on you. She told me if I paid $1,789.33 they would retract the warrant. I let her know that I was calling the fraud department of the police department she got really rude and called me stupid because there is nothing the police can do.
Some loser who didn't leave his name, screamed at me, and I hung up.... You don't own me, I owe you nothing, and I've reported you to the Tennessee State attorney's office, along with giving them the phone algorithms that your call left stamped on my phone... good luck with your litigation.
