I'm sick of idiots calling my number with nothing to say then hanging up my question is is it the government behind this so they by law don't have to require a legal wire tapp ????????
No, its not the government. Its illegal telephone "boiler room" operations. There are statistics on how many people answer calls from unknown numbers. Whenever an operator becomes available the computer dials more than that many new numbers at one time. The one that answers gets harassed by the operator. The others get dead air. Other illegal operations will call lots of numbers at one time and record which numbers get answered. They sell that information to telemarketers.
Don't fill out online surveys and input your phone number, lol.
I started getting calls from lots of numbers including this one after I did some of them :p
