I’ve received multiple phone calls from this same man (same voice, same message to a T, but different names used) its an obvious recording. Last number was called 901-425-1481 again same man. If you look up the other number someone says about pay day loans. Never once have I used a payday loan. Clearly this is a scam. Do not give them any information!!
I have been getting the same calls from this number. A woman asked for my name. I asked what it is about. She told me I am under criminal investigation. I told her if I am, then I should expect a law officer serving my summon. She hang up on me. However, this is getting crazy, I have been getting a call from them daily now.
The same number called me today. Said I owe 788.96 dollars from a payday loan I have never got a payday loans. She said if I don't pay today there will be a bench warrant for me
I received a call today stating that I commited check fraud and if I didn't pay today there would be a warrant out for my arrest and would serve 180 days in jail, when I tried getting information from them the lady became angry and called me slow and said she was turning my case over to the state attorneys office for failure to comply and hung up. I called back still trying to get answers and she was furious and hung up on me again.
