I got a call from this number from a woman claiming to be an agent for US Customs and Border Patrol. She told me that if I didn't get a Western Union money order for $2000.00 made out to some person in San Jose, Costa Rica that I would be arrested and go to prison for 2 years because I ordered something from an 877 number who called me and she told me it was illegal because it came from Costa Rica. I reported her and it turned out to be a scam, but I want her prosecuted.

Got the same call yesterday from a James Partain with the phone number 901-457-1295 claiming to be a customs agent in Memphis with badge #CB 46125. Told me the same thing and scared me to death. Gave me a number (516-394-5508) to an "attorney" named Lisa Craft in Costa Rica. She said I have 3 options; come to Costa Rica to defend myself and probably get 1 to 3 years in jail there, pay a fine of $2400 to the Costa Rican government via Western Union or do nothing and I will face drug charges here in the US with higher fines and jail time. She said I had 24 hours or it would be out of her hands and she could not help me. I was so freaked out and wasn't sure what to do, so I paid it. Now she tells me that I have to pay an additional $500 to $1200 for court costs. I found this information after paying and am really disturbed and will not pay anything else. Who did you report this to? I don't want any problems. I have a family and own businesses. These people need to be stopped.
