I keep receiving phone calls from this number but they won't leave a message and I miss them every time just wondering if anybody has any idea who this is I also live in Memphis
These people call & wont tell you who they are or what they want, until you verify they have the person they asked for. WELL, I WONT BE HELD HOSTAGE ON MY PHONE! I DO NOT PAY FOR PHONE SERVICE TO BE HARASSED BY JERKS WITH CRAPPY ATTITUDES! If they can't tell me who they are, I'm not going to let them talk to who they ask for.This phone is for MY convenience, no one else's. Certainly not theirs.

Good for you! I remember reading in the front pages of the old telephone books advice about nuisance calls. They specifically stated: "YOU control YOUR phone--and NOT the caller".
If more of us did this, the scam calls would dwindle down to nothing.

I can pretty much guarantee this is AT&T's collection service. They do this all the time. They called me a few months back and I specifically told them not to call me anymore. Apparently they forgot today and called me again...
The reason they don't tell you is because they're in violation of collection services on so many levels. I wish someone would sue the pants off these [***].
