Just received an e-mail from Mr. Albert offering to buy a vehicle posted on kijiji (Halifax) wanted to make payment via paypal. I am assuming that if I accepted I would receive an email from paypal telling me that the money had been transferred to my account (but not really from paypal)
I received an email as well recently in regards to purchasing a one of my trucks and this guy is a scam artist for sure. Beware! If you ever receive any email from a David G. Albert, petroleum engineer, works off shore and wants to pay with PayPal...don't proceed!!!
I also received the following email from David G. Albert:
Thanks so much for getting back to me, My name is David George,45 years old,i am a petroleum engineer,yes i will like to purchase it.I will offer you $8,000CAD for it? i will be paying you with my PayPal because it's attached to my bank account,If my offer is accepted send me your email link to your PayPal so i can pay you right away.I am a petroleum engineer on a rig offshore and do not have much time on me to come and view it but i believe in honesty and i will make arrange for the pick up after you have received payment. Make sure you get back to me so that i can arrange for pick up as soon as i make the payment and i will appreciate any pictures,I await your reply on my email, Thanks
