What happened with this matter, Lacie? I was making consistent monthly payments to a state college after a transfer, but was then told my payments would no longer be accepted and that the account was being turned over to a collection agency in Memphis. That was almost two years, ago and I'm just now hearing from them. The Statute of Limitations in AR is two years, I've been told.
Please let me know who your case turned out and if you have any advise. I'm already paying off other student loans and can't afford adding to that.
