I just got a call at 4:19 AM! It said it was from Tennessee, although on my first read I thought it was Genessee, which is a local hospital here in Rochester, NY. I'm not very happy.
This number just called my house and asked for Mr. *my name*...I'm a woman and there's no Mr. with my last name...clearly anyone who doesn't have the right information is a telemarketer. The guy on the phone had an accent and when I told him he had the wrong number (as far as I'm concerned, he did!), he tried to keep talking and I told them to stop calling and hung up. My guess is that's Bell, but I don't know for sure. They call trying to get my business back all the damn time so it wouldn't surprise me a bit that they call from several different numbers....what a pain in the [***]!
Just got a call from this number - 12:32 P.M. (P.S.T.). I answered but no one was there. Caller I.D. shows call originated from Tennessee. Obviously the Federal Do-Not Call list doesn't work; at least not for American callers. Anyone know whom we can complain to?
