Telemarketer scammer called on tuesday April 7, 2009,from 901-871-0788, asked for Fake name I gave to chinese hosted spammers who were forging my real domain names and email addresses in their spams. Obvious indian call center screener so I verified the fake info and waited for the criminals to call.
I called the likely spoofed number back and got a recorded message asking for pin number.
Call from "Josh" coming from 310-763-7432 at 1:39 PM, April 9, 2009 . Josh claimed I had filled out "the form on OUR web page". After some discussion, I informed him that I filled out his form on his page because he was forging my domains and email addresses in his spams and I repeatedly asked him why he was forging my information in his spams. He eventually hung up. So I called the number back.
At first I thought it was Josh who answered but it turned out to be his superviser "Steve". Steve acted pretty clueless and I was polite and told him the same things I had told Josh. He said he'd get Josh,s story and call me back.
Steve called back a few minutes later from 949-278-3366. He talked around and around but refused to answer any questions, lots of talk with nothing much said. I had to interrupt him repeatedly otherwise I'd waste all day hearing vague pointless claims that his company is in the business of helping people, yada yada yada. I tried repeatedly to get back to the point and my question. I asked him repeatedly if he planned to compensate me for the enormous wate of my time and resporces dealing with his company's abuse and forgeries and illegal telemarketing to numbers on the Do Not Call list. Time and again I pointed out that this was a simple yes or no question, and repeatedly he just took offense. I asked if I should let my attorney handle it, till no straight answer. He did start asking me personal questions like what I did for a living. I told him I work, I'm not a telemarketer, to which he predictably took offense.
These are crooks running bogus mortgage scams. Whether they are the forging spammers or just scummy crooks buying leads from other crooks, they are none the less crooks.
When I called back later to get the name of the company, "Steve" was quite angry and hung up before I could get the company name. So I called back and while angry still, he refused to give any company name and said it was a "new business", ond scam is more like it, but he whined about me calling his personal cell number and told me not to call it again. I told him to take his on advice, he and his pack had called mine repeatedly many many times after being told to stop as well as forging my data in his spams.
