when I opened the cell phone, top flipped shut so it was rejected....when i looked to see if I missed a call from someone I recognized, this # is from out of no-where. I don't know anyone in Tenn. probably a scam of some sort.
Criminals don't obey the law, so why would they follow the law in regards to the DNC?
Also the calls are not being made by a phone, as you know it. You take a computer, load some spamming software, plug it into a phone outlet, and click a button. It then dials numbers sequentially and hopes that a victim will answer. If the number is invalid, it skips to the next number and removes it from it's list. If the number is valid it's added to it's call again list.
These calls are a scam to get you to give them personal info or an upfront payment for a "prize", you give but do not get and loose in the end.
I just received a call from this number. But like 1 month ago I received the same message from a different telephone number. Apparently, these guys are trying to sell something to hispanics, but I don't know why they are talking to everybody. I speak spanish but I don't know if they previously know it.
