A "David Cooper from Tucker Industries" called, asking to speak to the owner. Saying "he'll know who I am." My boss didn't. He repeats that my boss is expecting him and will want to talk to him. My boss doesn't. I ask if I can take a message, and then he flips out.
"Your boss has been calling me non-stop like a psycho ex-girlfriend!"
"Well, can I get your phone number and make sure he doesn't call you again?"
"I'M NOT GIVING YOU MY NUMBER, YOU ALREADY HAVE IT! WHAT ARE YOU SELLING?"
"You called us."
"Aw, hell no!! naw naw naw! Now you listen here...." I hang up.
Just received a call from someone who said their name was David Cooper with Tucker for the owner who was currently on phone with a customer. This Mr. Cooper was very pushy. Said the owner was expecting his call by 4:00 to interrupt him. Said I could not at the moment as customer was interested in making an equipment purchase. He then said "good luck with that", in kind of flippant manner. He then said to stick a note in front of owner nose, of which I could not do either. He then said to stick a note under the door and then hung up.
Rude telemarketer who hangs up as soon as you don't give them information they want or if you ask them a question in return. It's a shame they are not smart enough to cross you off the list and calls back over and over.
This guy demanded to talk to the President, VP, CEO, COO. Would not give name, company he gave was SS Inc. He needs anger management big time, very rude, could not believe I had the nerve to ask what the purpose of his call was, just kept demanding I put the owner on. Said he would wait while I looked up his company and when I did he hung up.
