Another Canadian Pharmacy scam. I always use these opportunities to scream swear words at these slimeballs as soon as they identify themselves, then hang up and put them on my VoIP disconnected list. That way they can't ring my phone again. Too bad there isn't anything you can do about it, except of course, scream F&^%$k You into the phone. It makes you feel a little better. Hope it ruins his day. It won't.
I'm too busy to put up with these parasites who pretend to be a Canadian Pharmacy and pay poor workers in an off shore sweat box call center to hound Americans into buying their scabby generic ED drugs. The sooner the US Government work with telecoms companies to close these annoying businesses down the better. They switch themselves through different area codes every month hoping to trick people into answering their time wasting calls.
This company keeps calling my mother trying to get her to divulge information and buy medications to treat type 2 diabetes. I think they just rattle off a number names for medicines used for type 2 diabetes in hopes of tricking the listener that they really know which drugs are being taken by the patient. The guy I spoke with had a South Asian accent but claimed his name was Eddie Stevens. What are the chances that is true?
This company is a scam. They are drug pushers, Hang up immediately.
If you actually do get medications in the mail, never divulge any information over the phone when someone else initiates the phone call. Get the name of the person who called you and call the company back, but don't use the phone number that displays on the telephone or any telephone number the person may try to give you over the telephone. Always use (dial) a verified phone number for your mail order pharmacy, such as one that comes on the receipt when you obtain your medications.
What stinks is that they know the name of the person they think they are calling. Which means someone is selling our data....I did not answer; they did not leave message; I sure wish these people would go far, far, far, far, away....
This # called me at 8:30 a.m. & I was still asleep, jumped up to answer the call and I heard them call me by my first name, then they hung up as I probably did not answer quick enough for them. They called again this evening at 4:00 PM, I tried hitting the 9 button several times. I read somewhere on these posts that it would drive their robo calls crazy. Hope it works. I think it was a pharmacy company. I did by from Canada many, many years ago. But stopped when it became a hazzle. Caller ID says the call is from Atlanta TX.
