Going through the email "opt out" process will do nothing more than having your email, name and phone number being sold to a number of third party scammers which will result in even more invasions into your privacy.
The best thing I have found is to just keep saying "hello" a few times, especially talking over the heavy middle eastern accent on the other end, and then hang up. They usually think they or you have a bad phone (yes, they quickly figure out it is not a problem at their end) and you will be removed as a good contact.
Called during Sunday dinner and left no message. Just because they are able to get an area code the same as ours does not mean I will pick up. If no name that I recognize is on the caller ID, I will never pick up and if it is someone I know I know they will always leave a message. Terrible that we have to live like this due to these people and there scams.
Middle Eastern man wanting me to take an election related survey. Called from 903-965-1022 and the caller ID said Savoy, TX. I hung up and he called again from 801-899-4160 and the caller ID said SSI.
Called at 6:19pm. Left no message.
Received another no message call from 903-965-1023 @ 8:04pm. Assuming them to be the same.
Number trace shows the calls coming from Bell, Texas which is a suburb of Dallas.
