"Lee" from "Account Services" called me today, advising he was responding to my inquiry about lowering my interest rate on my credit cards. For starters, this was a direct dial to my cell phone, and I certainly didn't inquire about this service, because I DO NOT HAVE ANY CREDIT CARDS. He proceeded to tell me I was eligible due to my on time payments (Of what, my car loans? That's the only trade lines I have reporting to the bureaus).
"Lee" then disconnected the call when I began to ask further details/credentials.

I just got a call from this number direct dialed to my phone and got the same spiel about lowering my interest rate on my credit cards. I don't have any credit cards so I knew this was a scam...but I played along because I wanted to see how far they were going to go. I asked her "Which credit card are we talking about?" She repeated her scripted speech and I asked her the same thing again. She abruptly says to me, "[***] off, sir!" and promptly hung up on me.
