Yeah, i got a call from Tom Miller, said he's with Weinstein, Crutchfield and Asc. Says it's a law firm, i won't go into it, but i'm glad i called back.
Okay, I got a call from Tom Miller - said he is with Edison Patrick & Associates, also a law firm, connected me with his "senior law partner" Mr. McIntyre. Told me if I didn't make payment arrangements for a payday loan that the Sheriff's Department would come and arrest me for fraud.
got a call from this number from a mr. tom miller about a debt from a payday loan called payday loan yes. claimed I took out the loan in September 09. I wasn't sure about the debt. during that time financially things were not so great for me so I thought maybe. the amount was almost $800. that was a little shocking. i have never taken out a loan for that amount, but I thought maybe time and late fees etc was the reason. first mr. clark was rude and pushy. once i cussed him out and talked about his mama, he transfered me to mr tom miller. nicer but wanted to come up with a payment schedule. said 3 payments of $239. i agreed. he was suppose to email me reciepts of the payments. never got them. over a three week period I paid them almost $500. this is the number mr miller gave me to contact him if i need to. the number doesn't work. he calls my job nonstop, harrassing, threating with wage garnishments and being arrested for check fraud. i was suppose to make a payment 2 weeks ago, i didn't this just doesnt' feel right. I am going to contact an attorney and report this to the local police department. these people prey on the innocent and those that are financially struggling. just beware. not sure if he is who he says he is,but this is where i get off... i have to take action.
