This number has called my home. It probably is Direct TV rip off unit. I just switched to ROKU streaming from them. I have so much more, no commercials, no DVR needed. Direct TV seems to think we are all uneducated and can't cut the cord. Well we did, because after three plus years of on time payments they thought it was time to double the rates on the crap TV we were getting. DO NOT ANSWER, they will suck you in just to put it to you in the end.
First of all, this is not Directv calling. Directv does not use private numbers to solicit business. It is an auto-dialer that calls millions of numbers. Just because you are or were a Directv customer is just blind luck. You are the people they are fishing for because they figure you will let your guard down. It's just like an email spammer who sends out millions of "Login to your Bank of America account here". Some people actually have Bofa accounts so they think it is real. If it's a private number that you don't recognize then don't answer it. It's really that simple.
