I got a e mail from them claiming that a lawsuit is going to be filed against me. They said I owe for a payday loan and they said I would be charged with check fraud and a number of other things.
got an email saying I owe 986.45 from ACS INc. Don't know who they are. This is a scam by people who are trying to frighten me into paying on something I didn't borrow.
i just received a email stating the same thing for the exact same amount. i tried calling the number that was attached to the email and just recieved a voicemail inbox. No name of a company or person stating who I was calling.
I too received a VERY VAGUE email with many English grammatical errors, containing phone number 904-328-3041. I DID reply in email format advising they MAY send me via email to the same email address they originally used and it SHALL contain ALL back up documentation form origination for the "mysterious" company they are serving to collect an astronomical amount and fees to show proof of such debt in the first place. I loathe these scam artists. I worked as a licensed police officer for 10 years and have much knowledge on Criminal and Civil law. This is becoming absurd in our country. This number is listed from Florida somewhere. I hope nobody falls for this. ACS Incorp can kiss my [***] in Texas.
