I just got a call from a number listing this number as the "name" of the caller. Google indicates it's a health food store near Beach & Atlantic. If that is accurate, then it will be apparent that the "fundraiser" is truly scamming, spoofing their identity for one, then claiming they are "fundraising" for the FOP and firefighters when in reality they are just trying to steal.
We keep receiving calls from the referenced number. The gentleman is very rude and insists I give him a credit card. I told him if he wants a donation he needs to put the information, requesting the donation, in the mail. He refused to do that and continues to call our number several times a day.
