It's a debt collection agency that likes to keep calling long after you pay your bill. I've been getting bombarded by phone calls for the better part of 8 months and I'm getting real sick of it.

I was in the same boat with a different company - you're sitting on a good situation. If the debt is paid, send them a certified letter telling them to cease further communication. If they call you back then they've violated federal debt collection laws. Any consumer protection attorney would jump on your case and take it for free (law requires debt collectors to pay your attorney fees when you win). In my case they settled immediately before a lawsuit was even filed.
Do a search for "Fair Debt Collection Practices Act" or "FDCPA". You'll be surprised how common this is an how easy they are to defeat. 99 times out of 100 if they think they're going to get sued they'll cut you a check for $1,000 immediately to make you go away.
