Phone call from this person saying she was looking for my husband, gave me a name that was not my husband. Said she was an investigator, when I asked what agency, she kept putting me off. Finally admitted she was with a private agency looking for someone that if I didn't giver her information about, I was hiding him and I would b e an accessory.
This person (a woman) has called a couple times before. Says she is an investigator looking for a name I have never heard of. When I say this she gets belligerent and says, if I am hiding this person I will go to jail. You an tell it is a scam because when you answer & say hello it takes her a bit to answer back. That is what the scammers do, dial numbers (robo calling) until someone answers.
Well her name has changed to Investigator Ann Marie Davis from Florida. She screamed and cussed at me. She didn't even have the right name and social security number for me that she was"investigating". As soon as I told her my husband was a police officer she called me a b...tch and that she would file on me and arrest me. I said go ahead and laughed and hung up. She then called back and told me never to call her again. I said I never called you crazy. I would love to file a complaint on her.
I checked my messages at work this morning and this woman named Investigator Ann Marie Davis stated that she was investigating a possible identity fraud using my social number with the state of California and that I should call her back. I dialed the number in question and it just rang and rang then went to voicemail and the nunber is mentioned in the message was totally different from what I dialed. Something told me to Google the number and I found this page with the same complaints.
I got a message from Amanda Lewis on 10/31/2012 on my work voicemail asking to call back. Birds were chirping in the background. She started her message by saying, "Hey" ... unprofessional.
I called her back on that day, twice. I left 2 messages asking her to call me back on my cell phone. I wanted to know what this was about. No return calls.
I got a call the next day from Ann Marie Davis who called me from a blocked number, so I did not answer and had her leave a message. Her voicemail said she's an investigator and her assistant has called me yesterday and she's returning my call. She left her phone number but she said it quickly, I couldn't understand.
She called me again and I answered. She said I owe $652 to TIOR Capital. I've never heard of them before. I asked her if she has an account number or any information. She didn't have it. I asked to get something in writing. She said they can't do that. Then she kept pressing me for my account information to pay this, or she will contact my employer and police so they can come and pick me up from my job. She's full of crap and very pushy, but she didn't make me blink once. I eventually ended the phone call by saying, "call the cops."
Don't pay anyone unless they can provide you with a validation notice or information. This chicken head didn't have much information for me to just leak out my account information. I was born at night, but not LAST night LoL... she's a loser.
