Who called from 9044101008

I received a phonecall from a similar number and he is requesting the same as Chris.. Fire Extinguishers and that they needed to be shipped to Accra Ghana... How do I tell this guy that I am on to his game?  I cannot believe people like this make a living on ripping of people and businesses.

I didn't get a call but got an e-mail yesterday marked "Urgent Order" from James Wilshare wanting the price of a 10 lb fire extinguisher, including freight, and any credit card charges incurred by us.  I gave him a pretty high price to start because this just sounded wrong.  He then replied to me much the same as he did to you, but I then asked for his company, address and phone number so I could generate an estimate.  He gave me 3219 Cesery Blvd. in Jacksonville, FL, 904/290-3584.  I also told him where we are located and he said that was okay - of course, all of this put up the red flag!!!

I then started trying to check him out - no one by that name at that address and of course, it was a cell phone, so I googled him and found all these comments.  What a jerk!  I'm reporting this to the attorney general in our state and hope everyone does that as well in their states.  This needs to be stopped!

Thanks to all who have posted.  His e-mail through my website's 'contact form' looked suspicious, so I Googled & found your comments.

I got the same email today from James Wilshare for a 60 fire extinguisher order to be shipped to a hotel in Austria using his suggested COASTAL LOGISTICS - Tom Wilson. Seemed sketchy so went with my gut and bailed. Glad I did after reading these posts. SCAMMERS FOR SURE.
