Caller, Andrea, who would not give her last name insistent on speaking with the owner.
After several go arounds about they weren't available and trying to get information, or
a return phone number, she started reacting nastily. She then became insistent on
obtaining the owners name, to which I replied "if you do not know have it, I am not
allowed to give out that information". The call went well south from there. She insisted
she would call back and would GET to talk to the owner and asked MY name. She
can call me all she wants. If she can't be nice enough to give her information and
a return number, even after she was told I could assist her . . . good luck. It's PROBABLY
stock market sales . . . does anyone know
I got a call from this same company 2 times earlier this afternoon. My new thinking is to blast them with an airhorn that I bought for my SUP race. The lady announced who she was and the company name, and I blasted her eardrums with the horn. Works everytime. I have had some other calls from ATT and others, and with no guillt I give it to them in the ears. If we all did this, we can stop them from calling. STOP UNWANTED TELEMARKETERS WITH THE AIRHORN!!!. That will put an end to this. Mark my words.
Oh my goodness. A woman named "Michelle" called from "Security Center" and boy was she HORRIBLE. She asked to speak with "Kathy" and I politely told her she was gone for the day and asked if I could help. She then asked if Kathy still owned the place. Since a "Kathy" has never owned my company in its entire existence, I decided to question her. I asked for Kathy's last name and she gave the last name of a Kathy who hadn't worked here since 2006--and she never owned the place. She just did the books. So I apologized to "Michelle" and told her that information--to which she replied sternly that I must be wrong because she spoke to that Kathy last year. I laughed at her and said she had some nerve to say that to me since I've been running this company as the top operator/director since 2003. I was appalled. I told her again that woman hadn't worked here in over 7 years. I told her that I am the person to speak to and told her that we don't use her "Security Center". At this point, i was done being super nice and was very cut and dry with her. She said she wasn't "allowed" to speak with me because she can't talk to a 'regular employee." Oh wow....so I told her that since we are NOT one of her clients, there is no reason to be discrete! I told her as far as she was concerned, I'm the Messiah of this company, and I do not want a rude, lying "Security Center". She got an attitude and started to mouth off, so in the middle of her mouthing off I said in my pro voice, "Thanks so much for calling and have a great day!" and hung up on her rude [***]. WOW--[***]!!
