I just got a call from this number. Typical scammer. Usually I like to have fun with it and lead them on for a while just wasting their time until they get frustrated and hangup but today I was at work. The guy told me that he was alerted that my computer was having issues and that he wanted to help me get it fixed. He asked if I have a camera on my computer. I stopped him there and told him I already know he is trying to scam me to call someone else. He insisted he was not then asked more about my computer. I told him I don't have a computer. He then hung up.
His accent sounded like he was from India or a middle easter country.
Dont give them any information and all will be okay!
We have gotten several calls from this number the past couple of days. Weird thing is, the caller has our numbers for our land line, and our 2 cell phones which they call in succession of each other. Have not gotten to speak with anyone yet, but when I do, I will give them a piece of my mind.....
I received a call from this number, but did not answer the call because the Caller ID information was not familiar. The caller did not leave a message.
When I asked if this was a telemarketing call, and what company they were representing, they became rude, insulting, and used profanity to describe their interest in sleeping with my mother. Slight foreign accent, possibly eastern European. No idea what they were selling.
