Hey just wanted to let you know the National 'Do Not Call' list doesn't really mean anything. When I was 18 working at a telemarketing company management used to brag that they would get their numbers from people that would go online and put in their phone numbers in for the National Do Not Call list... Yeah you would think it's illegal, but it's all a big scam. After finding that out I told my mom not to put her phone number in any 'Do Not Call' type website because that's basically a way for companies to get leads. :-/
SCAM CALL!!! ---> Phone rang twice no message I called them back & the message says Julie with rewards redemption, if u stay on hold an Indian person comes on the line, hard to understand & they want to offer u a $100 gift card to Walmart, Best Buy, etc but u have to pay the s&h costs of $6.95 and give them a credit card to cover that. Knowing it was a scam I was just asking questions fishing & sd I do not own a credit card she was pretty persistent and saying I know u want this gc so all I need is ur bank acct info, I told her I do not own a bank account can't I just mail her a money order for $6.95? You could tell she was reading from a script & just kept going on about people are going through hard times & this $100 gc will help ur family out all you have to do is provide me ur bank acct info... I kept telling her I'm 17 & do not have a bank account yet, i finally hung up after 4 mins of listening to her pathetic rebuttals. THIS IS A SCAM CALL!!!
