Called my cell, I called it back on my work land line. Says its a reward that "I" recently applied for (not). Press 1 to claim your reward, press 2 to be removed from the list. So I pressed 2 to start with and it hangs up the call. Right there tells me it is bogus. So I call back and press 1 to claim my reward, guy gets on line tells me congratulations now may I have your first and last name to claim your reward. I said no, I want to know what this is, he says you recently signed up to win a reward at one of our local retail stores. No I havent, I dont do that, hes says must be a wrong number and hangs up.
Its a scam in my opinion !
I am from Turkey and here for holiday, this guys called me and act they are the invester of my bank, very proffossional froud attempt. Watch out with this guys. Someone should report them to F.B.I. They had even my informations, a scary.
Phone rang twice before they hung up. I have not signed up anywhere to win a prize. If they can't be bothered with leaving a message, then I can't be bothered with returning a call to who knows who? And besides that, if they wanted me to call back then they would have let me know who it was and who to call. I'll be blocking their number.
