Continually getting calls from "heavy accent" woman, wanting me to extend
warranty on a car I don't own anymore !! Then she asked what car I currently
have (to go for a sale anyway ???) I hung up.
The number is from Green Cove Springs Florida (South of Jacksonville)
I received a call from this number on 18 and 19 April. I tried to call it back....from Florida. It required me to dial 1-904 before I could complete the call. The message on the other end stated they were closed and only open on Mon-Fri Pacific time. Interesting.
I got another call today. This time I cussed them out and told them to stop trying to scam people. Also, that everyone has posted about them calling. Had the wrong name and vehicle trying to sell warranty. Sounds like she is from India.
Female, heavy Indian accent. Asked about my 2010 Charger and how many miles. When I asked what this was for, she said to extend a warranty. I said to take me off of the calling list. Said she would try. I said don't try, take me off. She again said she would try, and hung up. Called number back and had voicemail saying office is closed and to callback between 7am and 4pm Pacific time. I called on Tuesday at 11am Eastern.
