Called Sunday at 8:15pm. Caller ID said Ponte Vedra FL. I picked up and said nothing. Voice said "hello" "hello" mai speak to (my husband's name he doesn't use). Eventually he hung up. A clue this was a telemarketer....

Answered this call because it's local and I'm waiting on lab results. The caller stated he was from an organization raising money to "improve the health care for veterans at the VA hospitals and provide jobs for veterans." I informed him I work for the VA and as our funding is allocated by Congress, precisely how were they spending donated money? He simply repeated his script and when I again asked where the money is being spend, he stated he could not answer and hung up. SCAM. Shame on them using everyone's sympathy for veterans to get $$.
I received a call today and on the caller ID at first was the name Auto Zone, which then changed to "Unavailable." I hung up, but then decided to call back to see what would happen, and the first time I called the number I heard a very fast busy signal. The second time I called back a robot recording asked me to press the number 2 if I wanted my number removed. When the call came in the robot recording said they'd been trying to reach me several times regarding an unpaid debt, but I know it's a scam as I don't have an Auto Zone "credit card" or an account with them. As soon as I finish this comment I'm going to block this number. I'd just about bet my life on it that this is nothing BUT a SCAM!
