I have my Ford F150 pick up truck listed for sale on Craigslist. I received a SMS text from this number 904-567-6049 yesterday (9-7-13) expressing interest and if it was still for sale. Not knowing it was a scammer at first I text back and said yes it is still available. Then I got the following SMS message- "I will be sending Certified Bank Check for your payment. I'm in no rush until the check has been cleared. I will handle the pick up when you must have gotten your cash in hand. Please get back to me with your Name: Address: City: State: Zip Code. I will await your message with details. Thanks, Mike".
Once I told Mike I am strictly cash basis and do not accept certified bank checks I have not heard back from him.
