Call when I am not in the office and leave a message stating they are from Konica Minolta regarding a past due lease with charge-off and collection the next step. Never done business with them. Never signed a lease with them. They leave a call back number of 877-451-1731.
I get at least one call from this number on my direct office line every day. I am not the A/P person, and very few people get my direct line. It is always a recorded message from "Anthony" at "Leasing Services," saying the lease is past due. No company name, no reference to anything that would tell me what the lease is for. I talked to A/P, and she said everything is current. She also called the 888 number he leaves in the message, and it's equally vague. Press 1 if you know some contract number, customer number, something like that, press 2 if you know some other number. No option for a human being. He also gives a website, qdsontheweb.com. It's just a login page. Seems to be some sort of scam, fraud, or other unethically motivated scheme.
