Got a call requesting a donation for the fire fighters. He stated that they receive no federal funding and need help.
His name was Dave.
I told him 3 times that I was in traffic, he insisted on my address and that this was a "life saving cause".
After he repeated that statement I told him that it was a life saving cause for me to get off the phone as I was in traffic!
He then hung up abruptly!
Very rude and I am on the 800-DONOT CALL List WTH???
I got a call from (904) 674-6144 today at 5:39pm asking me to donate $25 to help firefighters and I never got the name of the man but when he tried to get my name and address and I refused he asked if I was even 18 and I said no I didn't think it mattered and he said "of course it f*****g matters f**k a**" and then hung up. Thinking of contacting the police to report what I think may be a scammer.
Saw the number pop up on my phone but sent it to voicemail. They did not know it kicked over and heard a call center for fire fighters. The operated that was supposed to talk to me was talking about how they got good money today to spend at the casino. Absolute scam.
