Telemarketers....no one there when I answered... Called back, long babble about I don't know what... Finally arrived at "if you what us to refrain from contacting you... Press 2". Yep, that's EXACTLY what I want you to do! :) Pressed 2, and they hung up on me!!! No acknowledgement, no "are you sure," no nothing! Just dumped the call. I feel pretty sure my number is STILL on their list, & pressing 2 is like pulling a lever on a trap door (over the ocean).... They just weed you out of the call que!!!
Caller with foreign accent said she was a rep for a power company and could reduce my bill by 30%. I asked if she was affiliated with JEA and she said United something or other. I told her there was no way she could help me since we only have one power company in our county. She promptly hung up.
This number just called starting he was calling from DirectTV and he could give me the package for my budget. I was just dealing w dish yesterday too. I asked where he got my number and stated DISH sold it. I told him to remove me as I'm on the DNC list. I felt uneasy and checked number....here I am!
