This number called yesterday when I was in an Illinois hearing concerning a prospective demolition next door (and learned some mortgage company not in the chain of title (like BofA) might be foreclosing). Realtors, developers and even a guy caught in an $83million bank fraud in Sarasota (to which an attorney pled guilty in 2011) have been swarming the neighborhood all spring, and deluging retirees with robocalls. This call, apparently from a VOIP line, is illegal because it's to a cellphone and number on the donotcall list--but enforcement is nearly nonexistent and scammers ignore it or circumvent it by leaving dead air messages like this one
