Who called from 9046880308

I didn't get a call, but two text messages from nonsense addresses ([email protected] and [email protected]) within about five minutes, telling me to call this number. The first message was
"(MESSAGE:EAHU) Mastercard VCVE alert 148897. Please call (904) 688-0308." The second message was
"(MESSAGE:UFAY) Mastercard TFGD alert 854822. Please call (904) 688-0308."
Probably some kind of scam.

Just received 2 text messages:

The second one was very similar.
I didn't call but my guess is they will ask for your credit card number.  :-)
Ignore the message.

got the same here, slightly different format. the original number called is from north jersey, but then they want you to call there, something to do with mastercard. this is in Kingston Ontario.
