This suspicious call came in on 1-5-2016, but did not leave a message. As I am inundated with unwanted calls even though I’m on the DO NOT CALL list, if someone will not afford me their name and/or number on my caller ID, I normally will not answer my phone unless they start to talk leaving me a message on my voice mail. Even then, unless it’s someone I know or they identify themselves as a company I do business with, I still probably won’t answer the call.
Many times it may be a recorded message. Normally they might give you a specific button to push if you want to be taken off of their list. However, those are used mostly to verify that someone is on the other end of the call and it will only exacerbate the problem with them harassing you even further with many extra calls. Don’t ever let them know that they’ve reached a real person. In the past, when I used to answer my phone, I’ve requested my name to be taken off someone’s list only to have calls from these people increase instead of being taken off their list as requested.
This call is labeled as being suspect.
The caller said she was taking a survey about doctors and medical facilities in the area. I told her I was a renter for the month and had no idea. Thank you. I see this number comes back top a carpet cleaner. What?
More and more phone calls from this number even though I still don't answer. I have had 2 calls from them today 1-15-16. As even the most intellectually challenged might get the idea that no one will answer when calling this number, I expect it's robo-calling. Otherwise, why waste so much time?!?
