They called my number and they asked me if I had anyone in my household who was diabetic

Phone rings but nobody on line. I tried to call it back several times and got busy signal.

Some guy that I could not understand because of his dialect said something about diabetes, etc. Told him was not interested and hung up.

Same as Kal. I didn't understand at all. I realize now from Kal he was asking if anyone in our house had diabetes. He finally hung up when I said I was sorry unless he could get someone on the phone that I could understand, I was going to hang up.
