Answered call as my son was in Jacksonville for the weekend and caller ID showed this area. Caller said "can I speak to Zachary". I said you have the wrong number, then she said "maybe you can help me, I am with (some name I forgot) breast cancer charity". Did not sound legit. I only give to local charities after checking them out myself. Hung up immediately. Sounds like a scam to me.
This number called me and I picked up because I usually give out my number for my job. She asked if the head of the household is available. I immediately asked so many questions. But you can tell they kept putting themselves on mute. The person didn't tell me anything nor answer any of my questions. Every time I asked a question the line went dead silent and I would have to check my phone if they are still on the line. I keep saying they because I sense that someone is coaching this person. I advised that person that I will be hanging up and then she "unmuted" herself and said "okay" This number is going to be added on my block list.
