This guy keeps calling. Same old raspy voice guy. Calls 2 or three times a day. Says he knows the owner and then asks to speak with the owner. This guy is lying and will not stop calling. Don't know what he is trying to sell.

received this call today. wanted to speak with the owner (myself) of the "new business." apparently, 27 years = new? Was extremely rude over the phone. Didn't say what he wanted but i refused to speak with him because he "knows the owner"; but doesn't knw the owner's name (my name). scam for sure.
This is from the FOP - Fraternal Order of Police. Not a scam, per say, but they are persistent in getting their message to the person writing the check.
Caller ID was 861-1594. Left a message on my machine: This is Richard Lee and my number is 861-1593 (notice one digit off from caller ID). I called back, but that guy was not available. Organization is the Fraternal Order of Police.
My suggestion for this type of call is to get yourself an Air Horn at your local boating supply store. When they call again, direct the horn directly into the phone and let that explain why you would prefer they not call back. Reckon that'll work???
